The looooong and hot run took us south through the left bank, south of the seine river and Notre Dame, a few hours before the streets got jammed with the madness and frenzy of World Cup revellers. We also crossed the Jardin du Luxembourg and continued south to finally return north, panting and begging for a drink. Our FRB of the day was our "Cuddly Doug" (who could schmooze a rock!) visiting from tropical and exciting Nigeria with an unfair advantage: where you sometimes have to run fast for your life. He obviously has had good training.

The perfect refreshment beer stop was at a little corner square with a cool wading fountain at the intersection of rue Monge and rue des Ecoles. Splendid location for a nice run with good Hash Views (not as good as last time we ran in Noisiel, girls, but still good).
After some beer was eventually located, we brought it back and drank it and it was good !
Our circle took us back into the back alley where we decided to squat the terrace of a Greek restaurant until the manager arrived and kindly pushed us out to the side curb.

The Bouffe Mistress delighted us with inviting fresh salads. And our hare, Night Stripper, contributed with a homemade, scrumptious and moist chocolate cake.
